How to get started!
A4 test prints
The A4 test print is the best way to get started. Simply send us your image and we will produce an A4 sample for you. Cost is: £25 including VAT and FREE UK delivery
If you're happy to proceeed, we can reproduce your images on A4, A3, A2 and A1 metal plate.
How we print metallurgy fine art metal
Metallurgy is unlike any conventional media. Each metal sheet requires careful handling prior to printing. We use white cotton gloves at all times during the print process to avoid marking the metal.
Designing with Metallurgy
Choose your sheet size and create your design. We suggest you save your image files as JPEGS using RGB 1998 profiles. All metal is printed borderless so allow 3mm extra bleed.
When designing your Metallurgy print remember the surface colour and reflectivity of the metal will affect your image. You can use a proof set up to mimic the printed metallic effect.
It is recommended to use the best quality images possible, we suggest 300dpi as a minimum for optimum results.
